Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown released on 18th January 2024, and it was a big milestone for all of us at Ubisoft India. The much-awaited project is an action-adventure platformer game, inspired by the Metroidvania genre and set in a mythological Persian world. Ubisoft Montpellier, the lead studio, collaborated with Ubisoft Pune, Ubisoft Bucharest, and Ubisoft Kyiv for the successful release of the game worldwide.
Our Pune studio was super excited to celebrate the launch of the game. Our colleagues from the QC Functionality and TSD (Technical Standards Division) teams geared up to celebrate this big day with many activities planned. Read further to get a glimpse of the day’s celebration.
The launch day was nothing short of mesmerising as the entire studio explored the fast-paced, exhilarating gameplay at experience zones set up at Mumbai and Pune. The teams organized a Time Trials challenge, requiring participants to solve in-game puzzles in the shortest time possible. The event saw impressive participation, with teams on the edge of their seats throughout the challenge.

We also had a photobooth that caught the eyes of the people who posed and clicked pictures with a cutout of Sargon, the immortal warrior.
The launch celebration continued with an intriguing Amulet Making activity within the team. The atmosphere buzzed with energy and lots of happiness during the cake-cutting ceremony.
